Our team

Dr. Fabien Boullé is the mastermind behind the creation of Indika. He holds the position of CEO of Axonova, a pioneering pharmaceutical laboratory in biomedical research in Mauritius.

 

Of Mauritian nationality, he holds a doctorate in neuropharmacology, obtained during alternating studies between the University of Paris-Descartes (France) and the University of Maastricht (Netherlands), as well as a Master's degree in Pharmacology from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Châtenay-Malabry (Paris-Sud University). He was also valedictorian when obtaining an MBA from the Ionis School of Management and Technology.

 

After long studies and professional experience in the Netherlands at Brightlands, where he was a Business Developer for two years, Fabien chose to return to his native island with an ambitious project in mind: to participate in the development of new drugs from active molecules of plants and marine organisms to fight neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. In order to realize this dream, he established a development company in 2017 in Mauritius, from which Axonova originated. The company has already raised tens of millions of rupees to support its research. 

 

Indika is the natural offspring of this project, being a perfect medium to present to the public the discoveries made in the laboratory on the extraordinary properties of plants from our region and elsewhere.
